§ 02.6 — Process

Five stages,
same for every service.

Every service ships through these five stages. Each one ends with an artefact you sign off on before the next one starts.

03 / Design

Every screen, twice.

Weeks 3–7. Two hi-fi rounds. Motion prototyped.

04 / Build

Weeks 4–12. Next + Payload. Staging from week one.

05 / Ship

Last 2 weeks. Never on a Friday. Plus support window.

§ 02.7 — FAQ

Eight questions,
asked most.

The questions we get on every introductory call. If yours isn't here, ask it in the brief.

01Why are landings so much cheaper than showcases?Because a landing is one page with one job. A showcase is a brand-level system: tokens, motion, CMS, 6–12 unique pages, performance budget, three weeks of support. Same studio, very different scope.
02Can we use our existing brand identity?Yes. About half of projects come with an established identity — we work within it and extend the system into web-native components. If the identity is incomplete, we'll flag it in the brief.
03Do you work with our existing developers? No. Same hands as design is a studio rule, not a preference. We deliver an owned codebase that your developers maintain after handover — but during the engagement, the studio writes the code.
04Will the site work without JavaScript? The content does. Server components render the first paint. Motion enhances the experience but the page is readable, navigable, and form-submittable with JS disabled.
05Can we publish without you after launch?Yes — that's the whole point of the Payload integration. We seed the CMS, write the content blocks, and train your editorial team in the final weeks. After that, you publish.
06What if we need a second language? Two languages are included on Corporate, Showcase, and Commerce up to the standard page count. Add $230 per additional language. We handle i18n routing, translation hand-off, and Cyrillic-compatible font stacks.
07Do you take equity, revenue share, or trade? No. Fixed price, fixed scope, paid in three instalments (or by milestone for bespoke). We are a studio, not an investor or a co-founder.
08What happens if the project goes over scope? We flag it before it does. Scope changes are discussed in writing, priced as a separate addendum, and signed before any new work starts. Scope caps are contractual ceilings, not budgets.
